ive figured out why it is,
that choir so easily overrules everything else in my life.
my family, my class, my frens at church.
i spent so much time with my choir mates,
hanging arnd, personal sharing, being thru tiffs...
so much more memorable stuff.
but i dont, if hardly any, spend time with church pple, no matter who.
and this, this is your doing isnt it.
criticising company that supposedly may not be ideal
all a waste of time to you, if im not studying.
which is why, its easy to tell where i am truly at home, and where im not.
and you do know, dont you
that the more one is removed from a group
the more one is unwilling to have anything at all, to do with it
we've come to this
see for yourself then.
you have influenced who i mix with, whose company i would prioritise over others
with whom im getting distant with
so dont force it on me in future, when things change.

there's no point at all
when you see me crying
to say that if youre so miserable
then go, go as you wish
for cant you see
that all is too late
once the moment's over you cant get it back
people dont go to parties after the mood's ruined

what do you want me to do now.
to ignore you, earns sighs of wallowing in self pity
and yet, to acquiesce, to appease
yield earfuls of insincerity and of letdowns
will you ever be satisfied?
